July's Tip Comp - Week 4

The end of the tipping comp is near completion. Bar two players, this month has been pretty poor. Why? Because no one other than Bird and Betmanmike has scored a point between them. That takes some doing! Can you remember the old board game Going for Broke where you started with a Million pounds and won by losing the lot? I think we have entered that realm. Anyway, the competition isn't quite done so there may be a surge of winners. At present, Bird has a decent lead with 22.4pts. Betmanmike is in second with 14pts. While everyone else is joint third (or last) with a BIG FAT ZERO. Lots of money still to be won so if you want to take a piece of the Key Lime Pie, I suggest your tipping cap, sharpen your pencil, scribble the correct horse name, time and meeting and say: ''Oh yes!''. Please get those tips in nice and early with 1pm deadline (if you are betting on the 12:55 Gowran Park make sure it is early). Good luck to all.
